Heads up for anyone who wants to watch.
i have been watching the barret jackson auctions now for 3 days....yes thats 15 hours lol but today and tommrow will be like a 10 hour event. Today or tommrow they will sell the 1st 2010 gt500, a new ford drag car and some other fun stuff.
Oh and they will be selling the first ss camaro of 2010 as well. i say record it on your dvr and enjoy later! lol

I hope all the dealership tools dont watch this and then assume their gt500 is worth even half that crap

its funny the cars i would want that are resto mods, basically nicely finshed older body styles like 69 camaros, with nice 18" touque thrust wheels, a new 454 big block, willowood breaks, ect. ect. sells for half of the 69 camaro with orginal parts and shitty old breaks.
dude......i guess from a collectors point of view i get it, but i want the look of the late 60s and early 70s with todays tech baby! |

^^^ When I win the power ball some day, I will be heading to similar auctions, prolly not BJ because of their inflated prices, and I think I will need a full size car hauler to bring everything back.

did anyone see the gt500 sell? did i miss it?? i saw the cobrajet sell for 375 but i dont remember seeing the gt500. ofcourse the highest selling car was goldbergs/yearones roadrunner for 675 and who ever bought the car will be the lead car in bullrun season 3. |

I think they pulled it, no idea why. Someone say that Mr. Shelby himself was going to drive it in and he was sick and couldnt do it. That may be why they pulled it... but they didnt tell anyone

ahhh yah they did say that he couldnt make it cause he has a cold or somthing. i guess they pulled it. sucks! it was sitting right there for like 3 days. its funny cause on sat i didnt see it sitting next to the cobra jet, i just assumed that they were staging it. oh well. |
