I have question about my gas mileage, it seems really low. I have a 2002 V6 Automatic stang. Last time I filled up I got 15.6 mpg city and 21.5 mpg highway. I may dog her some...but not that bad. And the highway was 70-80 mph. This just doesn't seem normal to me, anyone have any suggestions?

I get 29 interstate... usually a combined total of 27.5 mpg ... 400 miles to the tank. that's horrible gas mileage, what mods do you have done? I do 74 and get 29 interstate

I'd say you're gettin' screwed... the GT's get 26 advertised highway miles per gallon, 28-29 depending on the year for the v-6... I get 29 on the highway, 26ish in town... unless I get on it. But yeah, that's horrible. What rpm are you running at say 70 miles an hour?... I'm pushing like 2100, maybe 2050 rpm is all. I kinda like it . 60 is 1800 maybe?

I had an 89 GT and regularly got 26 MPG highway.
You may have a problem with the tune or something.
Could be your timing is retarded.

I also complain about my gas mileage. I get about 220 miles from tank full to when the low fuel light turns on. I think that's bad and I think I should be getting about 300, is that right? 2004 auto w/ 11K
