Found the stang I want

Its a black 98 5 spd. It is nice, very well maintained, 67,000 miles, dual flows, tinted windows, I am in love!! The best thing is the guy selling it, I have known pretty well for years (have played soccer together forever) So all I need to do now is sell my truck and I will finaly join all of you in the ranks of Mustang ownership. I am so excited!!!

Man I tell you I wish I could, but alas the main reason I am getting the Stang is because money is tight, and it is cheaper than my truck. Boy a GT would be sweet though, but I think modding a V6 would be more fun, as me and Brent were discussing the other day.

How is it more fun? everyone you know has a Gt and is modding it.... I would like to go another path and mod something that not many other people are modding. Its more of a challenege. Less parts and crap like that.

My wife gave me the green light about 5 months ago to trade my V6 in for a Cobra.

I found a candidate, a black 99 convertible and it was only going to cost $8 more a month in insurance

Well, all I needed was the jackass at the stealership to flirt with the average trade in value of my car. was $11k, if he would have given my $9k it would have been a done deal. I had all the financing all setup, had the insurance set up..

Guy offered $4k..
