I can't believe 7 people were injured by the "exploding batteries" in the flashlight. I wish they would specify how injured they were, whether it was from battery acid or from the concussion of the blast (which I doubt seriously).

I think the public as a whole has become way too fanatical with airport security...
I mean... there are a million other ways to commit a terrorist act... it doesn't have to be in an airplane or airport.

besides, i think terrorists are smarter than that, they know we have super beefed up security at airports. theyre not gonna strike the same way twice. thats only common sense.

I heard when it went through the X-rays it screwed things up. But at the same time they found this one guy running before the explosion.. so.. yeah.

I guess that means that all the security efforts were worth it then.... I mean if they know the security is extremely tight and they wont be able to pull it off isnt that good?
