Chip will not help you much with your current set up
T-Lok = Traction Lok
Gears will unlikely cause any problems with your warranty.....
I would recommend 4.10 gears for Auto and 3.73 for Manual
You will however need to get a chip if you change gears to correct your speedo and remove your speed limiter

if power is what you're looking for you're best bet is an UD pulley. It takes very little knowledge mechnical knowledge to do this mod. Anyways, I would get this and a CAI, it will add some bling bling under your hood and you'll pick up some power. You will have somewhere around 205hp with these added.

He will notice 4.10's more than he will notice a Underdrive pulley imo

True, but it seems like this guy is on a budget. If he was to buy gears, he should get a t-lok also, so then to get them installed is gonna cost him a pretty penny. This way he can pick up some more power for cheaper and his stock gearing isn't too shabby, better than my stock 2.73's.

Yes but if he changes gears he is going to need a chip anyways so you might as well use that to correct both

No, if he uses the speedcal to fix his speedo readings, he'll still need a chip to raise the speedometer limit. So instead of wasting money for two products, just have it all done in one, via a chip.
