so i got a good deal on some yokohama tires and i'm going in tomorrow to get them!

lol so i decided to have some fun! and fun i had!!!

i'll get some pics of the marks i made in the school parking lot tomorrow in the daytime! lol they were so sweet!

i called my mom and told her what i did well when i was done i called her and asked her what my time was and she told me 10mins! lol i changed the tire in 10 mins! and she gave a chuckle!

i had a cop pass me as i was getting the jack out from under the car and i dunno if he turned around but i was outta there quick!

i got home and told my mom and she was trying so hard not to laugh and tried to be mad at me but then i showed her the tire and she was like a v6 did that? lol she said she'll go see the track tomorrow!

lol yeah well when i bought the car the dealer gave me these crappy tires free! that was one year ago and since i've had them on the back, they just had like no traction so i decided to "test" out the new rear! lol

also i had to get it all out of my system because i'm getting 4 yokohama v rated 225/60/15 tires and they will not see any of this! maybe a lil blip at the track!

got the 7.5 out, working on putting the 8.8 in. i got rained on and nearly killed by lightning but the bastard is out finally. :oops:

hey v6, where are you right now? i would have been more than happy to help pull that 7.5 out with you. its really a 2 person job. i took my 8.8 out about 2 weeks ago and put my 7.5 in.

i did the install completely by myself!! but it would of been easier with 2 people but i had some good tools!

thanks for the offer.

i'm in college station, not too far from you. however, it's definitely too far away to drive here and help, but the offer is appreciated. installing things by yourself is just not fun. i've enjoyed installing new front/rear sway bars with a friend more than i have anything else, if not just for the beer buzz and the 67 camaro i got to help strip down later.

i took a look at my subframe connectors and i remember backing down off of a ramp once and slamming to a halt, hoping i didn't put a hole in my rear end cover. looks like the subframes took the shot for it! the end is all bent up. better one end of a subframe conn. than something needed!
