I have decided to undertake the massive project of reassembling the truck engine. I've got a tools request of almost $250 for my dad to buy me to do it. I will post pics all along the way, no worries. I'll probably just post them all at one time. This will most likely start in about a week. That gives time for the tools to come in, and the parts as well... if this works... I will be the least informed kid to ever assemble an engine ever. I'll have some guidance of course. Let's hope it goes alright .... nothin' like free labor... but I do get $250 worth of tools out of it.

that's nothin', when we went to get the engine back from the guy who took it completely apart, he kept trying to take it off the stand... before he realized it was still bolted on... DOH

I did. I was there. It was rather interesting. Ever get that one bolt? I hate when they come with a perfectly round top.
Oh, what? the top was normal before you stripped it?
