unfortunately yes. everyday that i've been to the track has been humid as all hell, which i'm sure hasn't been good at all for my times. the day i ran a 16.3 a friend of mine with a 99+ that just had a cai ran 16.2. he went back to the track a few days later on a night and ran 15.7.
i'm going back again in a few weeks at night, so i'm hoping that i'll do much better. by that time, i hope to have my dual exhaust on. right now i have a densecharger and a 3/8 spacer, but my service engine soon light is on, and i've gotta call my friend so i can see if he can scan it for me soon. so yeah, i need to be running faster in my opinion.

jefflouis,
16.3 @ 85 -- Looks to me like you cant get traction. I trapped 15.7 @ 85 in my 02, so youve got the speed down pretty good, but hows your launch? Got T-Lok?

i got a 2.411 60' on that run, so i dunno what to think. is that a typical 60' foot for a stock/nearlystock auto? my best 60' is a 2.393.
my stock goodyears that i had my first trip to the track were getting to the point where you could almost call them slicks, but now i have some new kuhmo's. the model i have isn't all that great to get them to hook up, but they're alright. i guess they the tires i have will take some getting used to, but i think i'm getting the hang of it now. no trac-loc or gears yet. and i honestly cant remember what i was launching at.
here's what was with one of my 16.3 runs when i was completely stock... i would post my newer 16.3 run, but i had an engine code that might have thrown off my times a bit the last time i was at the track, so i'm not gonna bother with it right now.
R/T .698
60' 2.411
1/8 10.581
MPH 67.77
1000' 13.686
1/4 16.308
MPH 85.5
is my car falling on its face top end? or was i lacking somewhere else in the run? or just plain all over?! i have very little knowledge regarding what the times will tell me, so if anyone could help me out, that'd be great.

jefflouis,
Id say your launch needs the most work. You want to be in the 1.9 - 2.1 range. Thats going to be a little hard if you have an auto though. Id say you definately need to get a t-lok, and a shift kit wouldnt hurt.
