Just curious for those of you out there that race. The Reaction Time doesnt really matter on the "test and tune" nights, But its still fun to try for the best R.T. you can get...
Mine was a .750
At my track, anything less than .500 will Foul You Out.

Superman had a good reaction time it was like 555 or something.
I've never been to the track, wait till he gets in her, he had some good times.

not bad at all... id love to get a .5 r.t. just once, with a 1.9(ish) 60' - that would pretty much be the perfect launch i.m.o.

You're prolly right. best so far was @ LACR with 8" streets, posi, & 3.73s was a 2.1 N/A - only a slight chirp off the line.
I just ordered my RPM Window Switch from summit, should be here tomorrow, so I can put my Nitrous in. I doubt ill have it done in time for Cali Speedway on Saturday though, unless i bust my butt and get the majority of the kit done tonite. Have everything ready to go, just need to do the plumbing...
Any of you guys have an estimate on # of hrs to install a NX wet kit?

i'm not meaning to rag on you at all, but a friend of mine on a '00 v6 5spd w/ 17" rims w/ 245 DR's and 4.10s/tlok and a few bolt ons and a cam ran consistent 1.9s and dipped to a high 1.8 once. ( i know because we were at the track together ) i fully expect to run 1.9s or below with only DR's in the near future. with slicks, 1.8 or lower. when the nitrous is back on-line, and i'm running slicks, watch out.

as soon as you see the last yellow light come on, hit the gas, that will give you a good r/t, in case some of you didnt already know that.

um, yeah? you must be fairly new to the game. gaston from v6power ran 13.6 or 13.7 (forget which) on a 94-98 v6 with tons of custom work n/a. what's hard to believe about that? clay he had a local guy port his heads, got a barely streetable cam, dual exhust, pulley, 4.10s and some other stuff. go to v6power.net or westsidemustangs and ask for clay. if you want to ask him a few questions he wouldn't mind if you hit him up on AIM... "V62KFM". btw she should be at about 14.2 or so. he shifts well and launches great, so who knows. his dyno may/may not be around on those sites.

13.6 in a 94-98 V6 N/A....
Im calling B.S. on this. Sorry, But a Naturally Aspirated V6 from pre 99+ could not pull that off. Nitrous or blower or something could probably get those numbers, but not N.A. Until i see timeslips, id have to say someones full of it.

hahaha if i wouldn't get in trouble i'd call you a stupid newbie, but i won't. before you call bs on me, know what you're talking about next time.
go to v6power.net and go to "timeslips"
#16 Gaston 1998 Auto N/A Radials Edgewater 1.896 13.677
he has since added a vortech i believe:
http://www.v6power.net/members/12.htm
and if you want to call BS and that his n/a run was really a vortech'd run, then i'm not going to waste anymore time with closed minded new guys calling BS on me.

Let me make a few things clear. Calling people 'n00bs' because they have a lower post count than you doesnt mean they are 'n00bs' - it means they have a life, so eat me. Secondly, I never said its impossible to have a V6 that can run into sub 14, 13, 12, or even 10 second timeslips. The amount of Mods you listed him as having is impossible, there has to be more than just a few bolt ons to make a 6 go that fast. The fact that you have the nerve to send me PMs calling me Names to get me to come back here and post is very childish of you, but again, I have a life and dont sit in tech boards to start arguments with people all weekend.
I asked for specs on his car, you didnt give me any. Im not gonna hunt the internet for someone who has a fast v6, cuz Frankly I dont care that much.
Oh and by the way, Ive been on this board longer than you have (by about a week, oooooo) So reserve the noob comments for MW or WH. I called B.S. "UNTIL I SEE SPECS" - so learn how to read, and leave me alone.

read: "i have a big mouth and a closed mind"
first of all, you called BS on someone running 13s on a single port motor. you didn't ask for any info, you just raised the BS flag because you are new to the v6 scene, which is obvious. don't make excuses for yourself, just admit that you were wrong and that you are in fact new to this stuff. everyone was new at one time (you), but not everyone talks #### to people that have a good grasp on what's up (me).
you're right, my social life has gone down a lot in the past months. does that have anything to do with you knowing what you're tlaking about? nope!
you threatened to "screw me up" and "beat my ass" in the PM's, so now who is the one with the anger problem and is acting childish?

Calm down guys. IF you want to continue to fight, take it back to the PM's, keep it out of the public eye.
