I have a 99 cobra all stock 25k miles on it, it's fast, but not fast enough.. so far all I that I have been doing is making the outside look good.. now I need to put some more horses inside, but I have no clue where to start.. any advice is welcome. I'm fairly new with it, so keep it as simple as possible.. thx alot

intake and exhaust are a must on any stang.

look into some long tube headers, Basanni x-pipe and cat-back exhaust. Then any cold air intake helps out. Also look into an underdrive crank pulley.

I would def look into Exhaust first. So with something like Monkey suggested. After exhaust is done look into a Cold Air Intake and then a underdrive crank pulley. AFter that you can upgrade your rear gears for added kick. 3.73 or even 4.10's would be great for a Cobra

Big help. Any recomendations on brands? right now I have about 1500.00 to pump into it. really like the sound of magnaflow, but is it worth the price.

Bassani is amazing.
and like Brent said, gears down the line, but go with 4.10s or 4.30s instead of 3.73s. 3.73 is not enough gear for cobras.

Yeah, most of the cobra guys i know get 4.30s.

IMO bassani has a more mellow tone..
SLP is extremely aggressive and loud, when counting X pipe/ catback, but doesn't sound bad.. I would go with bassani on mine..
