V6PowerStang no longer needs a computer to cruise the net... he opted for the highly expieremental Direct Brain LIU card install. He just plugs in a Fiber optic line to his head, and off he goes.

AMD Tbird 1.2g w/384 DDR ram, GeF 3 Ti200
24xburner, 19in monitor, and 1.5 mb up/down net connection
Desktop PC, web server, media server, and roomates PCs all running through a linksys 12port switch, hooked in linksys 4 port router off the wireless bridge for the Radio based wireless WAN (not LAN )
Media server hooked into entertainment center on 52" tv, with the sony stereo system, running into 4x5", 2 horn tweets, and 2 15" subs downstairs. Collectively about 100gig of MP3s, and roughly 50gig of Movies, and another 20 gig of music vidoes. Secondary SQL server handles web overflow traffic, and some sub domains for contract work I do at home once in a while...
Geek? Maybe...

AMD Athlon 900mhz (soon to be upgraded to a 1400)
Crappy 200mhz board
640mb DDRAM
25Gig HD (thinking about buying a second 40Gig)
32 AMD 7000 AGP card
CD burner/CD player (don't know what speeds)
JBL speakers and a JBL SubWoofer
Optical Mouse
Windows ME (I've heard bad things about it but I really haven't had any problems)
I'm gonna eventually give this comp to my wife and build my next one.
EDO RAM, does anyone use that for home comps??

I've only formatted my PC once in three years and that was my own fault. I've never had it crash otherwise and I use it everyday. I only reboot maybe once or twice a week.
Maybe I'm just lucky.
