So I am going Supercharger and Im trying to get everything ready. The main issue is not the kit but that I need to "Tune" my Mustang for the supercharger so ive beem looking around the web and i like these 2 options. SCT X3 Power Flash Mustang Custom Tuner and SCT Mustang 4-Bank Eliminator Chip. the chip is less money then the flash tuner. Any reason to go one vs the other. thanks.

hand held tuner is the best way to go, when you get your car tuned (from a good tuner) they can load your factory tune on it and the tune they give you on the car, you can easily update the tune via the hand held without having to mess with a stupid chip.

Ok thanks guys. I was just wasnt to sure the SCT chip claimed i could have upto 4 or 5 tunes saved on the chip. I am not sure how that works. but if i have to remove the bastard everytime i need a tune then for get that. I'll just go with a flash tune

The chip is nice in that you can just flip a switch to change tunes, but, the fact you have to take it out for updates makes it a PITA...plus, it only takes about 60-90 seconds to load a new tune via a hand held which will hold up to 3 tunes in it, it really makes it the only choice.
