supercharger on stock v6

would the ati procharger kit with 11 psi on a 2000 v6 be ok to just bolt on or would i have to upgrade the fuel delivery system even more than just the fuel pump. it comes with a 255lph fuel pump. i am looking into injectors and i would use 42 lbs injectors with it, but i won't get them if i don't need them? there will be more boost in the future but not for a while.

you would need the injectors unless you want some messed up crap, i would also suggest an 80 mm lightning MAF, then to finalize it get a chip or dyno tune.

btw where are you getting that supercharger from if you dont mind me asking? ive never heard of something that comes with a fuel pump, and id be interested to know of the site for future reference.

there is a kit from procharger that includes the pump but from what i have heard its trash, its better to get a pump (310lh) from the svt focus i think it coast like 100 bucks. youll need a 70mm maf a nice 2.5 inch exhaust system a bigger t.b would be nice nad injectors and of course a good tune

wtf a 310lph pump? on a focus? thats crazy, here i thought the highest pump is a 255 and even thats enough for nascar.

you *could* bolt on the procharger. i think a new pump(255lph) and injectors come with the kit, as well as a fmu(fuel managment unit). but to unleash even more hp you will need a nice flowing intake, 2.5" dual exhaust and maybe some porting of the heads. also a better rear end gearset(3.73 or 4.1's) would give you more acceleration. you should be into the 13's with that, depending on your skill.

he should be in the mid 13s with just the procharger, fuel upgrades, chip and exhaust, id imagine low 13s with what you mentioned

straight from procharger site: Using the 11 psi tuner kit, a 1999 Mustang with automatic transmission recently ran a 13.38 ET @ 105.4 mph at Kansas City International Raceway. The vehicle was stock with the exception of Flowmaster exhaust, a 3.73:1 gear and drag radials, and was running 91 octane fuel.

i have the kit, you need 42 lb injectors, the fuel pump in the kit is fine. kit has new overflow for radiator. belt and chip. (chip is not tuned for max performance) you need injector harneses or have to solder them.I wouldnt use a regulator cause if a fuel pump goes bad it dont pump. If a regulator goes bad it may still flow fuel at a lesser rate and cause you to go too lean.as for the guy running the 13.3 on a auto ...since they are selling the product their tune is perfect and to the edged of air/ fuel with out going boom. its sounds right. mabey dual exhaust or a touque converter may have been part of that cars other mods or they are running real lean..I do a 13.7 on street tires on a mild tune. Headders and dual exhaust will make the set up even better. loose alittle in the top end but your 60 ft will be better. Had mine for 1 year on my daily driver. you will love it. go for it.( warning) the tune is critical and dont expect ANYTHING but a custom tuned chip to make your car right. The one from procharger is week so they wont have to buy you an engine. Note drag radials are good for about 3-4 tenths.I run 13.7 on street tires.

The svt focus fuel pump is for a returnless system though. I forget if the V6s are still a return style or not. If they are, then you would want a walbro 255 lph

I ordered an svt focus pump today

plus I have a line on a set of 42 lb injectors and lightning maf for $200

You'll need the 11psi kit from procharger and then you'll need to buy the rest of the parts seperately. If you get the right injectors you won't have to solder anything, the 42lb injectors I sell plug right in, they have the correct connectors for 99+ V6s. I would recomend an 80MM Lightning maf. Use the 300lph ford pump, its designed for the returnless system. The walbro 255 pump will not work correctly in 99+ cars. Then get an SCT chip or SCT dynotune. Im am so glad to see more v6s going supercharged. when I did mine a little over a year ago no one had any input or really even cared. they thought i was crazy! Now i know im not the only one!!!!

the kit is from superchargers4less.com and the kit is supplied with a 255lph pump. i'm not sure what brand. why won't the fuel pump work that comes for the kit. i do know that the pump is an intank pump though.

i am getting the injectors from rpm-mustangs.com they are made for the 99+ v6's.
i think they will fit. what is the difference between the old style bosch and regular bosch injectors?

yhe pump will work, just that the pump isnt great, i think it would be better if you dont buy the tuner kit and just get the procharger then buy the svt focus fuel pump and 42lb injectors. and get the chip from http://www.velocitymustangperformance.com/

The 255lph pump is gerator style, it won't work in a 99+ returnless car where the pump is PWM, the pump will burn out. Your stock pump is vane style, the 300lph ford pump is vane style as well, so it doesn't burn out.

The 99+ V6s use oval electrical connectors, 98 and earlier use a square connector.

tell them that you don't want the 255 fuel pump and get them to deduct the cost of it. Then go to modular depot and get the svt focus fuel pump from Randy Stincomb. I got mine for $89 shipped
