Internet Brands owns MustangForums.com and is a publicly traded company. They seem to be terrified of competition though and have ceased allowing any of their members to link to other Mustang Forums. We ran into this into the past but were able to get it resolved because the forum was still owned privately. Anyway, my biggest pet peeve in business is being so terrified of your competition that you try to isolate your customers, or members in this case, from your competition by pretending they don't exist.
Basically, you are telling your customers/members they are too dumb to know better and should only use your website.
