I have a 68 Coupe obviously and it was originally a 6 cylinder car anyway now has a 289 but i plan to take it out and put in a 331, 347, or 351 hadn't decided yet anyway i wanted to know what vehicles to look for in a salvage yard to find new suspension and disc brakes because mine still has the old 4 lug but it has had some suspension work done on the rear because when i got it the leaf springs were attached right under the rear valance and i'm not sure what all that is goin on but it doesn't look very good i'm new to the restoration thing but i have had alot of mustangs and like to do the work my self just helps if you have someone around that really knows what there talking about when you hit a snag and not someone who thinks they know what there talkin about everyone know's a few of those guy anyway i'm looking to restomod the whole car so suggestions to my questions above would be very helpful and any other tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated i am on a budget mind you and don't have thousands to sink into it immediately but it will be a show car someday lol Thanks guys
