Should I start modding this car?

I just recently bought a 99 Mustang V6 Convertible in good condition with 75k miles on it. I am a senior in HS and I will be going away to college next September. When there, I probably won't be able to have a car on campus until maybe my Junior year.

My question is, do I start doing performance mods (dual exhaust) on the car and keep it for when I am able to drive in college and once I'm out of college, or should I save up until my Junior Year and possibly buy a GT or something a little better?

And if I do end up waiting and not making any mods to the car, what are some cheap cosmetic things that I could do to my current car to make it look better.

Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest savin up money and gettin a GT. Lemme tell ya tho its hard, you're gonna wanna buy a buncha stuff for it. As for small cosmetics, i'd go with
GT take off rims, Bullits, Mach 1's or Cobra R's, depending on your taste. GT takeoffs will be the cheapest.
Tints
Clear out lamps, or the smoked lamps
Spoiler if you dont already have one
Lowering springs, helps the handling while givin you a meaner stance

BTW, welcome to the board
