I am looking into an h-pipe for Christmas, because I live in TN would i have to get a catted pipe? also no longtubes right?

as long as you have cats it doesn't matter what else you have
long tubes + catted h or x pipe + catback of your choice = all good

All they used to do here in some parts of NC was look for the cats, and if you knew the inspector, you could get out of even that, but these have changed, now they hook up to your computer on 96 and up cars, but then if you can fool your computer, you can also fool their's. Hehehehe.
