Are there any magazine articles out there about the kind of times these '05 GTs can run? Anybody seen one at the track? Driven one?

numbers I've seen are 13.7 or so. I'd like to see a few of them on the track first though.

I drove a GT..but to stay on the good side of my friend at the dealership I didn't run her hard...It felt about the same as the 99-04 GT, not much difference. I may be wrong though...

Yeah, they should feel about the same down low, I think you will have to get it up higher in the rpm's to feel a difference.

Guy on my stangnet ran a 13.5 @ 102mph, it was his 3rd run. Stock. He said he thinks he can get it lower, but with 235 tires its hard to get traction.

i was hearing 5.1 0-60 in an auto, but its a 5 spd auto and there will be very little diff. between the auto and the manual in this car.

Remember these are some heavier than the 99-04s, not sure how much, so that would offset some of that 40 extra hp. Also remember the aftermarket on that new engine is going to be pretty much non-existant for a good while.
