My dealer said my GT will be manufactured the week of March 16. I wanted to get a supercharger installed but they said it is not available yet. Could be 4-6 months before it is available. I am trading in my 07 GT 500 and so you can see I am used to having HP. Yes, it does not make sense to get rid of my gt500 but I have a reason, my back will not let me use the clutch anymore.
Anybody have any other info on a suoercharger from Ford Motorsport?

I'm unsure as to what changes they're making for the 2010 models... if I were you, I would wait until 2011 when they put new motors (read more powerful...) in. Otherwise, I would assume the 05-09 blowers may be close to fitting.

As far as I know the 2010 is the same motor setup, so the current offerings should work just fine. I would go with the whipple offering from ford racing.
You know though, you could always swap an auto into the GT500 and save yourself a bunch of money.

The only thing the dealer was sure of was that the superchargers for 05-09 would not work in the 2010. Per Ford Motorsort

Never, ever, trust a dealer. They also said the 07 GT500's were going to be a one year run...yeah, as you can see, that is no where near the truth....other than they only produced the 07 GT500 in 07...in 08 it was the 08 GT500. ...and so on.

WOW !!!, swopping 07GT500 for 2010 GT, understand the back thing BUT !!!, gosh you are going to miss the HP without supercharger, maybe with.
I have 08 GT500 can't imagine that swop & the ramifications, are you getting a good trade in on the GT500, what are your miles ???

that makes absolutely no sense concidering that you have the same motor thats in the s197s (05-09) mustangs. just your set up is like the builet mustang. any supercharger for 05-09 should work. i think you should call up procharger, whipple and see what they say.
i cant belive you had to give up a gt500.......id rather lose my pinky lol

the only diff. for the '09 to '10 in the engine is the air intake. So all the parts for the 09 will fit the 2010. the dealer is telling you that so they can sell you a car. and you are going to get raped on the deal.

i agree. i think you should blat the dealer for giving you faulse information and not knowing his shit. just for that 5 grand off the price lol hey its worth a try lol
as it is you dont want them to put on the supercharger, they will never do the job a good shop can do.
