does the ford factory deck [cd/tape/radio deck] made for a 1997 3.8L fit into a 1990 GT? Thanx.

I couldn't tell you. But the headunit in my '98 was two pieces. One part was the Radio and Tape player and the one below it was the CD player and, the CD player I believe will not operate indepently of the Radio/Tape player.
