- I've been living in Arizona for a number of years, after attending college in Ohio for automotive & diesel technology, and business management. I couldn't let my two prior Mustang's rust away in the Midwest as they were two 1969 Mach1's, one with a 428 Super Cobra Jet and the other, with the 351 Windsor four barrel. Unfortunately I sold them prior to their prices going up through the roof, so I bought another one just prior to breaking my neck in the late 1980s. But oh well, sometimes you're the bug and other times you're the windshield! I've been both but being the windshield hurt just a little bit more, but life goes on! Anyhow, enough sounding like a preacher and not a hot rodder..
My current rides are a little more if not far from ordinary, it's a 1996 Ford Windstar with a 3.8 L engine and an Eaton M112 supercharger which was destined to be put on a 2003-04 Mustang Cobra. I have a Snow Performance water/alcohol injection system which feeds off the throttle positioning sensor to give me just the right amount of juice as the throttle opening changes. I'm just about finished with my project, it only has some wiring that needs finished and that's about it, except for the exhaust which is 3 inch oval tubing from Dr. Gas that will split over the rear axle and come out the fiberglass body kit at the back of my van.
I forgot to mention that my Windstar is wheelchair accessible as I'm paralyzed from about armpits down. Wherever I go, I don't like too much shade to develop underneath my ride as my other Windstar as a cold air kit and a 2 1/2 inch oval exhaust from Dr. Gas. It leads to a single turbo muffler and out the back. It has 16 inch MB Racing wheels with 225/60-16 Michelin rubber. As for my other Windstar that supercharged, it has 17 inch MB Racing wheels and it rides on 245/50-17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus rubber.
