|1994 Mustang 5.0, 5 speed Swap Project
The base (ha!) for this project is a white (and yellow, and grey, and other not-so-pretty colors) 1994 Mustang. It rolled off the factory with a 145hp v6 attached to an automatic transmission. Exciting, huh? Well I bought the car last year for $1000, knowing it was going to be a project. Two months after I spent money bringing the car back up to a good running condition, the transmission gave out. After a long while of research, investigation, and waiting for the right deal, I found a donor car.
It is a 1994 Mustang GT. Finally, I have a 5.0l v8 with a 5 speed manual. This thing is (was) not stock either... Many aftermarket performance parts including:
Profession Products Typhoon Upper/Lower Intakes
BBK 70mm Throttle Body
BBK Cold Air Intake
BBK Ceramic Shorty Headers
Ford E303 Camshaft
17x9 Black '03 Cobra Style Replica Wheels
The car started up with no problem, idled nicely, and sounded INCREDIBLE. I was unable to drive the car due to the major front end damage. After some intense cleaning and preparation, everything (besides the taillights) will be swapped over.
I will be adding pictures as things come together.
