no when i bought the car it had a muffler shop home made dual exhaust on it ,small pipes ,no h or x pipe ,plus it was all ready rotted out ,holes in the muffflers etc .,it was loud and nasty sounding ,so i replaced it the first week i had it , put the dynomax kit on it ,x-pipe and 2 1/2 inch all the way back .. sounds great ,nice rumble ,almost like a v8 ,doesnt have that buzz that a lot of v6 exhausts seem to have .... na i just tightened them up ,they came with new bolts but the factory studs didn't come out of the heads so i just reused the factory hardware ,worked great ,no prob's .........
the hardest thing to break loose was the egr tube to the headers ,its in a tough spot ,otherwise it was a piece of cake
