I had taken it to the dealer to have them reset the timming as the computer didn't seen to want to hold the timming correctly. They said there was no power to the computer and they did fix that. Also told me the car had 2 error codes a 172 for lack of oxygen sensor switching and 181 for rich fuel mixture. But thats when they said to put the car back to stock and retest the computer. The service mgr. told me it was proly the computer was the problem. I bought 2 rebuilt ones and have tried both of them and it didn't fix the proplem.

I'm having an idle problem it keeps surging and will die at a stop. I took out the sprout and that smoothed out the idle. I just put a new computer in the car today and put the sprout back in and it's surging and dying again. I removed the sprout and agai it smooths out the idle. I took it to the ford dealer and all they could suggest was putting back to stock and retesting the computer. I don't think they knew what the problem was either.

How you doing 95GT? Not sure if using this is any faster than the previous post...lol I have had my car a year in Nov. It had been in storage for 10 yrs and only had 54K miles on it. I love the car and have made some mods to it...cold air in take, JBA shorty headers, new wheels and tires etc.
