I didn't have an issue with the HotRod cams at all. I was told by my mechanic friend that he has trouble working with compcams and detroit rockers. It could simply be he just has a knack for the FRPP cams. WIth the auto when you're in gear you lope so hard the car will shake a little and it is awesome (makes my wife sick though haha). If all you want is sound with power as an added bonus for with these. I am now considering the Detroit Rockers when I go F/I and working with my mech friend on the tune in order to hopefully end his difficulty there. As for the exhaust volume I am not sure. I did cams and exhaust at the same time and it was a completely different care afterward, but I can imagine it does make the exhaust at least a little louder on its own.

No problem "BenGT07", My Retirement date from the Coast Guard is Nov. 1st. Right now, I'm just doing "Terminal Leave". Thanks for that Info about the Throttle Bodies, If I do go that route, I'll look at the GT500 TB.

Sorry brother. I just logged on from my computer for the first time in a couple months, and I guess the app on my phone wasn't sending through the messages... So I just saw your notes. I was in the Army until just recently. Now I'm just an unemployed member of the National Guard . I move around a lot, but mostly live in Central FL, Winter Garden Windermere area. As far as the TB, the main thing I noticed was faster throttle response. I could just tap the gas and the RPM's would go up noticably faster. That's about it. After all the research, installing it, taking it off, installing it again, taking it off again and then selling it for a hundred bucks... I'd say do the FRPP or the GT500 TB. Once again, sorry about the delay in getting back to you.

There's not really too much to be gained by upgrading as far as HP is concerned. I run MSD, or Taylor wires on all the Mustangs I've owned, mainly for quality and longevity.

the overdrive button is just another gear, there is no real reason to ever turn it off it wont do anything other than keep you from shifting into your final gear, generally called "overdrive" because the gear is less than 1 to 1 with the engine's turning.

TSC i assume is the traction control system, leave it on unless you are at the track then you may wish to get used to launching the car yourself.
