hvae you ever made up a braied dipstick ?? just installed BBK shorties and do not like the way the oil dipstick is mounted I was going to get some braided line cut the stock dipstick abour 3 in out from the pan and run the braided line up and agin cut the top of dipstick off to place on the braided line what do you think or what would you charge to do that

To make your 3.8/9 into a 4.2 you need a few things. Your best bet IMO is to go to the Ford dealer and just order all new parts (Crank, rods, pistons). You can look for a junk engine, but good luck with that. And depending on your car will might need a new flywheel, oilpan as well. so i want to build my motor into a 4.2 on my 98 mustang v6 3.8L, i was wondering since you know a lot, how much that would cost. cause eventually i want to put a twin turbo kit in.
