- I have loved Mustangs since I was a little kid. My favorite toys were Mustangs. I had a 67' coupe when I was in high school. I traded a 71' Duster for the 67' pony. I thought it was a fair trade since they were both six bangers! I've owned my 68' GT/CS since 1986. I recently restored it. The color is Ford Teal Metallic. I have the Lucas driving lights and the GT/CS stripe kit, but haven't installed them yet. It is slightly customized with a billet grill, Weld polished aluminum wheels & Cooper Cobra radials, and a CD player. It currently has a 289 small block that is fairly stock, with a three speed manual. I hope to do a T-5 swap in the near future. I've applied for my custom plates to read "SPCLPONY" (Special Pony) for my California Special Mustang. I'm married with two girls, 14 and 9. I'm also a volunteer firefighter in my community. I am a CNC machinist by trade.
