my biggest mistake was rushing the process. i tore down the car and hauled everything to storage. i ordered what i thought i needed and when it got here, there were obvious things i forgot and things i didnt really need. ive paid a lot more on shipping than i ever should have. another thing look up dynacorn providers in your area. my uncle is redoing a 69 model and he checked with some local and semi-local places and he can get it from them for the same price as i was getting the crappy repro stuff at online "specials" and "deals". plus dynacorn is the best repro parts in my opinion. this has been a learning process for me and the people on vintage mustang forums helped guide me too. you should join it but beware the "know it alls" there. they are all over the place and if you question them they get mad.
