Well first you wanyt to look at the ultimate goal for HP and drivability you are looking to get. To start with the bottom end go with a 97-01 F150 4.2L Crank, 5.956 351W Rods, and Wiesco Pistons. The SSMS Stage 3 Top end is good to go, but you might also look into doing a split port swap. As far as compression I would stay around 85.8.8:1 compression as it lets you run more boost safely. Now on to the blower, the M112 is a far superior blower to the M90...but both pale in comparision to a vortech or procharger. The roots style blower is good on awesome low end TQ, but the over all bang for the buck lies in the centrifical blowers.
You will do just fine, keep me posted if you have any more question! Good luck and again contact if you need any help!

hey iam fixing to start building my wifes 98 3.8, i know the 01 up blocks are better but she wants to stay with the original so her numbers will match, bla bla bullshit if you ask me. my 68 mustang dosent have the original motor anymore and i could care or less. anyway what tips do you have on how yo build the motor. i am planing on useing the setup off a 3.8 thunderbird super coupe for that factory blown look, but i have also seen kits to run the 03-04 cobra eaton on the 6. what compreesion are you running and what did you do to beef up the bottom end? i thinking i want to stay around 8.5:1 and probly am going to go with super six motorsports bottom end kit. i will be running their stage 3 top end kit 4sure.
