I have an option for you. I have a v6 harness,computer,5 speed, motor(will need a rebuild or I can rebuild it) You will have to run an aftermarket fuel system to run the fuel injection. The v6 will definitely fit between the towers but you may have to do custom exhaust, motor mounts. As far as ease and simplicity of the swap you may want to consider a v8 fuel injection swap.I would use a 94-95 harness and pc due to the fact that you will have more tunability with the computer. If you want to discuss it feel free to call me and Ill share my experiences with you on this very swap. I am doing a fuel inj. swap into a 60s model ford van and a 65 mustang, and a 72 bronco. I have a few under my belt as well and am more then willing to help anyway I can.
Thanks for the info on swapping a V-6 into a classic 'Stang. I was planning on getting a donor car to do the job don't know if the rear end can swap or other parts. I assume the 3.8 will fit between the shock towers. Other suggestions on a year Mustang I should start with? I want ps, disc brakes and a/c for sure. Wiring issues? Thanks for any help or link to pics of a project you have done. I live in North Dallas area.
