1986 Ford Mustang

The 1986 Mustang was the last year you would get a choice of more than two engines in the Mustang until the Cobra was revived in 1993. The 4 cylinder SVO engine was dropped along with the 3.8L V-6 engine. The V-6 would make its return in the 1994 Ford Mustang however. 224,410 Mustangs were produced in 1986.
