2013 Super Snake Pricing Released For Shelby GT500!
That’s right. The king of of the road is back in business, the Shelby GT500 Super Snake and it’s extremely limited. Details on pricing have been released for those anxious to get their hands on one of the best Mustangs on the road. However, those interested better get busy since only 500 of these packages will be available to customers.
Two packages are available beginning at $28,995 for the 662-hp model, and $39,995 for an incredible 850-horsepower supercharged model. That’s not including the base coupe or convertible. The base model ’13 Shelby GT500 coupe starts at $54,995 with a $795 destination fee.
Shelby American partnered with Ford Racing to bring you this monster snake, the fastest Super Snake yet. The package with the 850 horsepower will include either a Whipple or Kenne Bell supercharger.
Let’s not forget the stripes that come with every Snake. You can choose rear only, or hood and rear in black or white. Wide-body mods are available just like the one on the Carroll Shelby tribute car, created by Shelby American and Ford Motor Company, consisting of 14-inch rear wheel and tire package. There are a few different options available when it comes to the appearance of the new Super Snake.
You can bet that both packages consist of a six-speed manual transmission, short-throw shifter, suspension upgrades for handling, a cooling performance package and a rear axle ratio of 3:31:1 or 3:37:1.
For a mean rumble to accompany that powerful V8 sound is Shelby/Borla exhaust. To add to cosmetic appearances, 20-inch spoked wheels designed by Shelby will be available and behind them are Shelby – Wilwood brakes for optimum stopping power.
Keep your eyes peeled at the Barrett-Jackson auction coming up at the end of September for the first 2013 Super Snake GT500 to cross the block.
