Alan Mulally Talks Taking Over Ford To Stanford Business Students
Alan Mulally recently spoke to a group of Stanford Business students about what it was like to go from Boeing to Ford and the challenges he faced in his first few days. Taking the company from an annual loss of $17 billion dollars in 2006 to the most profitable period in over a decade wasn’t easy as Mulally explains that kind of leadership takes courage, to have a point of view about the future and to pursue it in the face of resistance and doubt, in service of something great.
