Behind The Wheel: June 2011 MOTM

Our June 2011 Mustang of the Month is owned by John Beavers-known as ‘Beav’ on the site- from Chapman, Kansas. It is a 2007 Roush 427R Mustang with newly installed Brembo brakes and Yokohamas. John states “Driving this car is like traveling with a minor celebrity, it gets attention everywhere I go..I love it!” And I’m sure the car will continue to get even more attention as John completes his future mod list, including CAI, pulley, exhaust, long tube headers, and a dyno tune.

Mustangs are a part of the Beavers’ family, as his wife also owns a 2005 GT. They are both part of the Fort Riley Mustang Club. John helped in founding the club and is now the club photographer.

    Beautiful cars, I saw your club in JC Parade today and was hoping you could help me contact one of your members. HE was in the 76-78 Mustang II. I was involved in a restoration for a while, family killed budget. LOL… Have have Mustang II interior, trim and glass. I just need to get rid of them no cost, if he doesnt need them he may know how to trade at a flea market to help budget his project. My number is 785-492-9620 thank you.
