How To Ruin A Perfectly Good Ford Mustang

I think most of us agree that modifications are suppose to mold your Ford Mustang to fit your personality and that there is an acceptance that you are not going to please everyone with your tastes. I think we can all agree though, that there are just some modifications that should never be done to a Mustang. I discovered one of those things today, when I watched someone put 28″ rims on a Roush 427R Mustang.

The video below shows Underground Rim King removing the stock 427R wheels and suspension so they can modify the Roush for a set of 28″ rims. The end result is completely ruining the benefits of the $47,000 Mustang and reducing it to a rolling pile of junk as far as performance and handling goes.

    Not someyhing that I’d do.  But, just because everyone doesn’t share your tastes, this is junk?

    If everyone shared your point-of-view, that shop wouldn’t be doing that type of business.

    I’m sure they appreciate the free advertisement.

    Doing this to any car can look totally stupid or totally cool depending on the eye of beholder. HOWEVER, doing this to this car which completely undermines all the work and money that went into creating a superior handling experience is just plain ignorant.
