Photos: Eye-Candy At The Stampede Ford Mustang Show In Jacksonville
Another great Florida morning for another great Mustang show! The annual Stampede Mustang & Truck show was yesterday (although, I only saw one Lightning and a low-rider Ranger) and we couldn’t have asked for better weather! The show started at 9 am, Danielle and I arrived around 10 am to the Jacksonville Landing that has a nice set-up along the St. John’s riverfront to see a bunch of pretty Mustangs gleaming under the morning sun.
I wrote up an article about a local heavily-modded Mustang, HOSS, and the husband/wife owners who built it since HOSS made a spread in Auto Enthusiast Magazine. It was nice to see some familiar faces and some recognizable ‘Stangs as well as some fresh faces.
Maybe it was the time we arrived, but I remember plenty more Mustangs in attendance the year prior. Don’t get me wrong, there were still quite a few Mustangs to look at, just not hundreds like I remember. After browsing through a couple times and taking in the Mustangs and pointing out the things we liked, disliked, and absolutely loved, we were a little caffeine-deprived so we went searching for the nearest coffee place. Thank you Jacksonville Landing for closing Starbucks down! Anyway, it was a nice show and we hope to get more into the local Jacksonville Mustang scene and help with future shows. I hope you enjoy the photos from the old Nikon!
