This is the time of year for car enthusiasts in Florida. Heck, even states near and far look forward to such a big show held inside Daytona International Speedway in Daytona, Florida. I believe I saw Ontario and California plates. It’s pretty much a big deal around here every Thanksgiving weekend, just as much as turkey and football. We love our cars, and we love our weather because it lets us enjoy them all year ’round.

So after you eat your Thanksgiving feast head on down to the show and stay awhile afterwards. Head on down to the Belair Plaza in Daytona Beach Friday night where one of the biggest swap meets is held. There are people sitting in lawn chairs and blankets along A1A waiting to see the hot rods, modern muscle cars, rat rods, and modified cars of all kinds make their way down to the swap meet. Grab yourself a beer, walk around, and admire all of the wild cars.

Of course among the thousands of cars that participate throughout the weekend, you have quite the herd of Ford Mustangs. Daytona Mustang club and a few others made their presence known inside of the Speedway. A couple GT500 Super Snakes were out and about, there were Fox Bodies for days, a couple Roush Stage 3s, and a whole lot of old school from the Boss 302 to the old Mach 1 fastbacks. One little problem however, the SD card formatted itself so what I have is from my phone which conveniently died halfway through miles of walking.  So I salvaged what I could from my phone to bring to you what I saw. (Sorry if your car is not pictured due to technical difficulties). I mean, if you’re conflicted between the Iron bowl and the car show, can’t your iPhone keep you updated on the score? Anyways, check out some of the pictures salvaged from the Belair plaza!
