Twin Turbo Coyote 5.0L Unveiled By Modular Mustang Racing

Posted by on August 29, 2012 - more

You gotta love such great projects built up for the best performance possible. The guys at Modular Mustang Racing in Camarillo, California, really have made a name for themselves and their projects. They mostly work with the 4.6-L 3V and the 5.4-liter engines.

Whether it’s their own in-house Mustang or a customer’s ride, they have brought home many wins from the Pro Street category to the Drag Radial category. This particular project comes in the form of a Grabber Blue Monster. A Mustang with a 5.0-liter twin turbo setup! It was only a matter of time before they brought in a 5.0-L and modded it up to its performance potential.

This Mustang is their Outlaw 10.5 and will likely be putting out some insane numbers here soon whether it’s dyno’d or thrown on the track.

Not a whole lot is known about the setup but it has been said that this bad boy has put down an insane 1,800 horsepower on the dyno! They said it’s definitely capable of putting down some power and with those numbers, we agree! It has twin 80mm turbos helping it produce such an incredible amount of power. Look for this 2010 Grabber Blue GT, The Outlaw 10.5, at the next PSCA with this impressive setup. It will be the one making mid six second passes at over 220 miles per hour. Should be pretty easy to spot if you ask us.

What do you think of this crazy setup? Anybody else thinking about throwing on some twin turbos onto their Coyote?

I’m not sure exactly why but this website is loading incredibly slow for me.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end?
I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.
