It’s always healthy to have some good old competition in the workplace, especially if that workplace can also double as Cecil County Dragway in Maryland! The smacktalk has been going on for months between Mike Wilson “The Tuner” from Bama Performance in the 2011 Mustang GT and Brick “The Racer” in the 2012 BOSS 302. Eager Facebook fans and YouTube subscribers have been egging them on as well.

BOSS 302 mods:
– JLT Cold Air Intake
– Bama 93 Race Tune
– Kooks 1 3/4″ Long Tube Headers
– Magnaflow Cat-Back System
– Barton Short Throw Shifter
– Nitto NT05R Rear Tires

GT Mods:
– JLT Cold Air Intake
– Bama 93 Race Tune
– Boss Intake Manifold
– Stock Auto Trans.
– Off-Road X-Pipe
– Nitto NT555R Rear Tires

If you watched the video or you just scrolled down to here you would know that Brick “The Racer” in the BOSS took victory over Mike “The Tuner” in the GT with 2 out of 3 wins during their run. After this video was posted, Mike Wilson has taken the GT to the drags and has been pulling out 12.1 1/4 mile passes! Maybe a second round soon?

Great. Take an allotment of a car built to go AROUND a track away from somebody who wants to use it for its intended purpose and whore it out for driving in a straight line.  Nice. :( It’s guys like this that prevent the Mustang from maturing into the world car it could/should be.

These guys make aftermarket parts for Mustangs for a living. I doubt that the BOSS ended up in the wrong hands. Just sayin’.
