Video: Another Day, Another ReDONKulous Ford Mustang
The title says it all. It looks like the Ford Mustang hasn’t been crossed off of the “donk” list just yet. While the norm seems to be old police style cruisers such as the Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis with a possible Chrysler 300 here and there, it looks like the ‘Stang is still a favorable donkable car. It wasn’t that long ago when The Rim King decided to chop up a ROUSH 427R and cause quite the ruckus online with fellow Mustang owners.
While some may not agree with such mods on a GT, it’s not an uncommon sight. The owner of this V8 would rather cruise the strip instead of race it like most Mustang owners. We’re not exactly sure how this New Edge GT continues moving with such large wheels but we can expect that it is likely slower than its stock V6 counterpart with an automatic transmission. Not sure what it says on the rear window… “I ATE”, I think… You ate? Not quite sure what that means but he is proud to display a “28s” decal on the quarter panel window. How he fit 28-inch wheels on a mid-model Mustang is beyond us.
Different strokes for different folks, yes, but I think this one may be leaving a few shaking their heads, especially Mustang owners who upgrade their suspensions for the lower, giving them better handling whether daily driving or out on the auto cross track. I don’t think this thing is doing any auto cross events anytime soon, I could be wrong.
This is definitely a common site in Central Florida, don’t be alarmed.
