Video: Listen To The 2015 Ford Mustang Exhaust Rumble
The new-generation 2015 Ford Mustang is highly anticipated, especially with the recent leaks of a few spy videos and photos of it rolling around. Lately the car has been seen driving around near its home in Dearborn tightly under wraps. The pony is going global and recent spy photos have spotted a test mule sporting an independent rear suspension.
Thanks to this video filmed by Mustang6G, we have an idea of what the new V8 Mustang might sound like. The driver gets on the gas some and a nice and low V8-powered rumble can be heard in the video. So far the exhaust note sounds pretty sweet, but we’re still dying to see what’s hiding under that big black wrap. As far as rumors are concerned, it could be based off of the 2010 Ford EVOS concept, minus the gull wing doors.
Other renderings make it seem very Fusion-like and possibly Aston Martin-ish. We know it’s going to be a lighter, smaller car with a platform dubbed the S550. The Focus ST’s 2.3-L turbocharged EcoBoost engine could become an option delivering 350 horses at full tune. Of course the hardcore traditionalists will have the high-performance V8 option. Ford Motor Company has sold us on the exhaust note but we’re still antsy to see the whole package. The new-gen Mustang is said to have narrower headlights and a redesigned front grille. The tail lights are sure to change as well as a modified rear fascia. What do you think of the exhaust note from this incognito Mustang?
