You MUST add an IC before raising boost pressure. 6 pounds is the streetable max without and IC. Anytime you compress anything, you heat it up and that's what the engine sees; killing power at least and destroying engines at worst. You'll make more power with less boost using a proper IC setup. I used to use nitrous
oxide as a charge cooler on my old 88 back in the day, just a little 20 hp jet, dry, right at the airbox outlet and...that was at 6 pounds only.
