No power to anything at all after sc install

Hi guys. But of a long shot I figure but I just finished installing a Paxton from brenspeed on my car. Double checked everything and went to hook the battery back up and load my tune. Positive terminal sparked pretty good when I put it back on, but I did slip a little. But now I haven’t got anything. No lights, power, dash, nothing. The tuner is supposed to come on when you plug it in, it doesn’t have batteries in it. It does nothing. I checked the terminals and fuses. All good. I can’t think of what the issue is. I had to rewrite the MAF, but it aughta at least give me lights without it. Y’all got any ideas?
Thanks

You said that the battery sparked when you connected it.
Have you checked the battery voltage to make sure that it is sufficiently charged?

Battery was dead. Got a new one. Put the new one on. It sparked and the wire from the positive terminal that goes under the intake caught fire. A short somewhere maybe? I am not sure

Yeah it fried the wires in 2 on the harness. I am not sure if the wires broke when I pulled them off or I did something but the key isn’t even in the car. And all I had to do anything to was extend the maf. I guess I will be taking it to a mechanic

Yes. You definitely have a short somewhere. It is likely that a wiring harness got pinched during the installation.

I appreciate it. I managed to fix it. I had a bad wire and it frayed is all. Everything is working well now. Save that it wants to surge a little at idle. But I think that is a tuning issue.
I appreciate the help. Luckily it was a battery and a new cable and I am good 🙂
