05-09 mustang gt rev limiter

My car has been tuned for a while. I can bounce the rev limiter but now the rev limiter just holds at red line and doesn’t bounce what could be wrong or is there anything wrong at all?

Define the words "bounce"; and "holds".

Bouncing as in hits the rev limiter cuts down a few hundred rpms and hits again really fast kinda like lol whaaaaa babababababa. But is holds sounding like whaaaaaaa at the rev limit. It used to do the first one.

Oh. Ok.

This didn't start happening when the car was tuned? Just out of the blue started doing this, and you haven't changed anything?

I wouldn't worry too much about it, particularly, if everything else seems to be normal.

You know that there is no legitimate reason to sit there and bounce off the limiter, right?
It's just not something that we do with our V8's. We save that sort of activity for our fellow automotive enthusiasts who have half as many cylinders.... and half as many brain cells!

Ok cool the only code I get is for 02 sensor that removed in my left cat to put a wide band in. Other than that nothing else. But I do get a whine when my ac is on from the engine bay. It goes away when I turn it off. So ac compressor is fixing go I assume. So just to sure there is nothing I should worry about?

The O2 sensor shouldn't be a problem as long as it is the downstream (After the catalytic converter) sensor that was removed. The upstream (Closest to the engine) sensor is required for the engine to run properly. If it is the upstream (Sensor 1) that is causing the code, then you will need to fix it.
