REAR SWAP

Was wondering if a rearend housing out of a 93 5.0 would work in a 98 gt. After i switch the axles. Mine leaks on the inside of my wheel, where the seal goes is flared out a little bit. And a friend of mine has one from his 93 gt that he will sell to me if it works. Thanks

The axle width for a SN95 is about an inch and a half wider than a Foxbody rear axle.

Spacers with longer wheel studs. Or just go to a JY and yank a rear out of a correct year.

car-part.com

Craigslist

Bigger forums Classifieds etc...

To get my IRS I met a guy who lived 6 hours away. He drove 3 and I drove 3. It was a SRA to IRS swap but a lot of times if you give a good price and pay gas someone will find it worthwhile to invest part of a day to make money.
