How much of the Mustang is made of Aluminum?

I am curious how much of the car is made of aluminum. Basically wondering how concerned I should be of my car turning into a rust bucket like my 03 grand am.

I have heard for the most part the entire car is made of aluminum but the underbody, frame, drive shaft and rear differential do not seem to be because they are rusting pretty badly. I spent a lot of time underneath the car sanding it down and coating it with eastwood products last year, like their rust encapsulator and internal frame coating as well as some POR 15 so far it is holding up very nicely compared to the rustoleum products I used on my grand am.

I know the hood is definitely made of aluminum. I am fairly certain the quarter panels and front fenders are made of aluminum as well but not 100%. The area around my fuel tank door has started to rust since a spot has had the paint flaked off but since I put some POR 15 on it, it has not spread and seems to have stopped it in its tracks for now.

Main concerns are the doors and trunk lid, the doors seem to trap water like they were designed specifically to do so, as well as the fuel tank door, whoever designed that fuel tank door area basically made it a reservoir to hold rain water!

Get a magnet and see which body panels that it will stick to.
A magnet will not stick to aluminum nor any composite material.

Just the hood is aluminum. The 2015+ have aluminum hoods and front fenders.

The S197 body is all steel except for the hood. After robot welding is done, It is electrostatically dipped up to the roof in rustproofing sealer to seal out rust before painting. Chipping from rock salt and pebbles will allow it to rust though.
