The issues I am having is,when I have to sit for a long time(with the air on/off) the instrument panel goes haywire all the idiot lights come on and the car shuts off,it requires a jump before it will restart.I have replaced the alternator and battery....

So when you're driving, the car is fine?

Have you taken it in to have the new battery and alternator tested while still on the car?

It's possible that you may have a weak alternator or the cable on the back of the alternator is not sending power back to your battery.

Double check all your connections on the battery and alternator. Then take it to a parts supplier that can test your charging system for you.

Does your message board say anything when this happens,,Sounds like connection if only happens intermittently,,i had a few pickup around that year with problems in the fuse panel box at work...Its also possible to have a bad alternator,,but show good on their tester..

When they test it at autozone,,turn all your loads on ,,a/c,lights,radio,,etc,,and let it idle a little,,and then let them test it,,it may show up something,,Also if you bought that valuecraft battery,,ive seen a few people having problems with them

The message board says nothing, just all the idiot lights come on.I took it back to autozone to day to have the alternator and batter rechecked, the alternator failed so I replace it. While we where checking the alternator the check engine light came on,they scan the car and said the emc chip was bad.would that make all this happen?
