I had seen the Ipad on the web and thought this would be great in my mustang, I have a factory ford GPS with 6 CD system but with the I pad I could have almost all my music at my finger tips and GPS also. Not only that I have my Email,great radio that does not go out under bridges or tunnels, I can pull over and have texting, the GPS I used is Motion X for $2.99 this is the best GPS you can get in my book. I also have Pandora Radio, Face book and The weather channel for traveling. I would like a few more like Koach has in his write up like the Plex Kiwi Wifi and the Rev2 App but I'll have to wait till next year some time as I'm on Disability from a bad Doctor but anyways, after seeing Koach I know it could be done.Here are the parts I used and I want to say I did this my self and I have no experience in this kind of stuff. I used a Peripherals RCA Line Level Controller from a local store for $14.99, next I used kicker kx3 3-way active electronic crossover $95.95 from ebay, for the charging and programing with the RCA out and usb, I used ipad AV composite video RCA TV cable for wifi 3 cost was $29.99 from ebay. speakers I replaced the stock one with 4 Polk Coaxial Speakers from American furniture $125.00 and the base in the doors with Kicker 8 Inch Woofer Door Speakers $149.00 and last a JL Audio G6600 6 channel amplifier 600W $ for $350.00. That's it for the sound I included the prices so you know what your looking at if you want to do this. I cut out the Mustang Radio Bezel Heater Control Dash Trim to fit used trim to go around the new cut out and mounted the Ipad. I used anti glare on the front helps 95 % and also installed a little motor that strikes the off button so you can leave it on all the time your driving and turn it off when you get out of the car. I sold my factory gps and made enough to buy the Ipad. This is the second most enjoyable add on to my 07 mustang.
