Hey guys, after blowing a plug out last Friday on the way to the Turkey Run in Daytona, my BULLITT has developed a miss along with a popping noise thru the exhaust while idling and acceleration.
Could it be a coil?
Thanks for any feedback

Yes.it could be a coil.
I would be most suspicious of the coil on the cylinder that blew the spark plug.
If you scan for trouble codes, it is possible that there is a stored code that might give you an indication of which cylinder is causing the problem.

I can always rely on straybullitt to have his ears on and reply.
As always, thank you.
I dont have a CEL on but i have read that doesnt always matter as there may be a stored code. I am gonna have it scanned tomorrow and i also have a new Motorcraft coil being shipped right now because the mounting tab broke when the plug blew out. I'll post tomorrow after the scan.

Just a note to say i figured out the misfire problem that I had.
After blowing the plug out, i parked and went to the show to allow my car to cool off. Several hours later i was able to put the plug back in and hand tighten it ! Go figure !
What i DIDN'T notice was that the electrode was bent therefore grounding out the plug and causing the misfire !
I felt like an idiot when I pulled the plug back out later. UUUGH !
