Looking to replace my subs. I've already picked out the (4) 6x8s.
But I'm holding off on having them replaced until I find subs that I can put in without having to run an external amp to power them.
Has anyone come across this issue?
Any suggestions?
Shallow speaker?
I'm no audio or electrical expert. Not even close to being a novice.
All work done on my car is done by professionals that warranty their work....or else....
I need some direction on this.
I've looked on crutchfields site and every option I found had to be a modified installation.(cutting door panel etc)

I'd like to hear from someone that has actually had it done. Personal experiences with this flawed design

And I listen to ALOT of 60s-80s hard rock. Classic rock. I am not looking for bass. I like to hear my music and jam the F....out. Not piss people off by vibrating their family heirlooms off their walls

I think Shelby sells replacement woofers not sure if they require any cutting or not. But they claim it's a factory replacement part.
